(HENDERSON, NV, August 11, 2008) – A portion of the proceeds from the 5th Annual Marriott Las Vegas Charities Golf Tournament, being held on Thursday, August 14, at the Falls Golf Club at Ritz Carlton Lake Las Vegas will benefit Children's Miracle Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of sick children in southern Nevada.
“We're thrilled that a portion of the proceeds from this year's golf tournament will benefit Children's Miracle Network,” said Rod Davis, president, St. Rose Dominican Hospitals. “Our hospitals' partnership with Children's Miracle Network ensures that some of the money raised at the tournament will help our pediatric departments provide equipment, charity care and health education for the children in our community.”
The charity golf tournament is still accepting golfers and sponsors. The cost is $375 per golfer or $1,500 per foursome. Registration for the August 14 tournament begins at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will then be held at the Ritz Carlton from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and the shotgun start tournament begins at 1:00 p.m.
