First in the Valley to Offer Innovative Bedside System

(HENDERSON, NV, June 12, 2008) - St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, the community's only not-for-profit, religiously sponsored hospital system, has a new interactive patient care system designed to inform and empower patients during the healthcare process using interactive education, feedback tools and entertainment options via in-room television monitors in all three of its hospitals in Henderson and Las Vegas. St. Rose is the first hospital system in the Las Vegas Valley to offer this innovative new technology to its patients.

"St. Rose Dominican Hospitals' mission of providing the highest levels of patient care and service for more than 60 years means that we continue to incorporate technological advances into practices that translate into healthier, happier patients," said Rod Davis, president, St. Rose Dominican Hospitals. "The GetWellNetwork system has been in place at the San Martín campus since it opened in late 2006. It is now also available in all patient rooms at both the Rose de Lima and Siena campuses and provides service tools in conjunction with patient education opportunities that maximize our ability to provide patients with the very best care and information throughout their hospital stay."

The GetWellNetwork PatientLife System® turns patient-room television monitors into fully interactive resources, enabling true interactive patient care environments in which patients and family members are fully engaged, informed and empowered as active participants in the healthcare process. The system delivers a personalized care experience to each patient.

With the system, patients actively participate in their healthcare process by using tools at their bedsides that provide medication information, patient safety, pain management, health and wellness information, entertainment options and website and e-mail access. By using a wireless keyboard or other handheld device, patients interact with the on-screen system to access valuable education, communication and entertainment tools.

"GetWellNetwork is pleased to be working with St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, and we're committed to helping them use our interactive patient care tools to drive measured improvements in service and quality," said Michael O'Neil, Jr., founder and CEO of GetWellNetwork, Inc. "St. Rose is a remarkable hospital system with an unparalleled focus on investing in the resources and tools necessary to deliver terrific patient experiences."
