Private Patient Rooms

Each patient room is designed to provide comfort and warmth for the patient. All rooms are equipped with a television, phone, bathroom with shower, comfortable bed and relaxing chairs for guests.

Each room at the Siena and San Martín Campuses, and many rooms at the Rose de Lima Campus, are private and contain a pull out couch-bed so a loved one can stay overnight.

Calling Your Nurse

When calling your nurse, please press the call button located on a cord attached to your bed. The nurse’s station is alerted that you need assistance and will assess your needs and send someone to assist you.

Flower Delivery

Flowers are delivered to patient rooms as soon as they arrive; however, flowers are not allowed in the Intensive Care units. Please note that all St. Rose Dominican Hospitals campuses are latex-sensitive environments, so latex rubber balloons are not permitted. Mylar balloons are welcome.

GetWellNetwork

Get Informed. Get Entertained. Get Heard.

The GetWellNetwork system transforms the television in your patient room into a fully interactive resource. Through the television, you can use the GetWellNetwork system to:

  • Learn more about your health, procedures and medications
  • Access important information about hospital services and facilities
  • Provide feedback regarding your hospital stay
  • Watch on-demand movies
  • E-mail family and friends

  • And more!

Meals

St. Rose Dominican Hospitals makes every effort to provide nutritious meals that are prepared fresh and according to your physician's orders, including special diets. As a patient, you will be provided with a daily menu to select your meals for the next day.

If you have special food needs, a dietitian can work with you to accommodate them. Ask your physician or nurse to arrange this service.

Smoking

All St. Rose Dominican Hospitals are smoke-free facilities. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.

Soup Ladies

Just a spoonful of soup … makes the medicine go down?! Piping hot soup and coffee are personally delivered by the St. Rose “soup ladies” to patients in their rooms at mealtimes.

Spiritual Care Services

To support you and family members during your stay at any St. Rose Dominican Hospitals campus, we have interfaith chaplains on staff representing various faiths. Please let your nurse know if you would like to contact a chaplain.
