Begin an Employee Wellness Program

As an employer, you know how stressful it can be when employees call in sick. Many illnesses are caused by unhealthy lifestyles, including lack of exercise and poor eating habits, etc.
St. Rose Dominican Hospitals partners with area businesses to develop and collaborate on wellness programs. Services provided by the St. Rose Corporate Wellness and Event Program include:
- providing articles, research and brochures on various health-related topics tailored to the needs of companies;
- organizing and coordinating health and wellness fairs for corporate wellness partners, and providing corporate wellness partners with vendors and exhibitors for wellness events and fairs;
- providing on-site screenings for blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol, glucose (blood sugar), blood lipid panels, body fat analysis, PSA (prostate specific antigen) and thyroid (T3, T4 & TSH) as well as flu vaccinations and research topics on health and wellness;
- collecting data from health and wellness events and providing statistical analysis of results (i.e., the number of employees with elevated cholesterol levels, obesity levels and blood pressure); and
- consultation on various health and wellness topics and issues.
Healthier lifestyles translate into less absenteeism, increased productivity, decreased turnover rates and lower employer health costs.
